Boeing 737-400
Boeing 737-400 - narrow-body short and medium-range passenger aircraft. The Boeing 737 series is the most massive passenger aircraft in the history of aircraft construction. The Boeing 737-400 is the second of three 737 aircraft to be powered by the second generation CFM56 engine. Thanks to the success of the second generation Boeing 737 family, sales have reached over 3,000 crafts, a record for a commercial airliner. For this series, Boeing decided to use the CFM International CFM56 large by-pass turbojet engine (developed jointly with General Electric and SNECMA).
